Background

My name is Sara Gardella…

I’m 26 and living in Chicago, Illinois.  I’m a graduate of Michigan State University and love being a SPARTAN.  I went to school to study Communication and stayed in school to obtain a masters in Health Communication - both of which experiences were wonderful!

Professionally, my interests lie in applying marketing, sales, and customer service techniques as well as communication theory to the health care sector.  I am currently working as an HR Trainer with a health corporation.  I train new hires and offer department wide training and support for a staff who assists employees , HR professionals, and healthcare providers with navigating the Family Medical Leave Act.  I am learning a lot about the law, customer service, and system navigation and am enjoying the experience of working downtown in a metropolis!

Personally, my passions lie in dance, music, and cooking — I have danced my whole life and I haven’t yet found a recipe I couldn’t cook!  I am taking tap classes here in Chicago and am honing my cooking skills and love to share recipes.
